When you arrive, an Classic Tours India representative will welcome you and transport you to the hotel. He will hand over your travel gear and go through the itinerary for the 5-days Golden Triangle Tour. After some downtime, prepare to see some of Delhi’s most popular tourist attractions. Raj Ghat and Jama Masjid are two of Delhi’s prominent attractions. The Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, the Qutub Minar, Rajpath, and the Lotus Temple are all worth seeing. Enjoy some excellent shopping in Palika Bazaar and Chandni Chowk. Street shoppers go to Connaught Place and Palika Bazaar. When visiting the Chandni Chowk market, visitors must eat the famed street delicacies. After a hectic day, unwind with an overnight stay at a hotel.
You’ll explore Old Delhi in the morning to witness its old monuments, tiny lanes, and lively bazaars. You’ll also see Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques. Shah Jahan, who also built the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort, erected the mosque in 1656.
Then you’ll ride a rickshaw through Chandni Chowk, Old Delhi’s most renowned bazaar, where you can buy everything from saris to silver jewellery.
The journey concludes at the Raj Ghat, a Mahatma Gandhi memorial.
After the trip, you’ll take a 4 to 5 hour journey to Agra. When you arrive, check into your hotel and unwind.
Today will begin bright and early with a tour to the world-famous Taj Mahal. Shah Jahan created this massive white marble monument as a sign of devotion for his beloved, Mumtaz Mahal. It is a marvel of Indian architecture and one of the world’s most recognised monuments.
You’ll then return to your hotel for breakfast. Following that, you’ll see Agra’s Red Fort, a formidable fortification erected in the mid-16th century. You’ll see marble mansions, mosques, and gorgeous gardens there. From the summit, you’ll get spectacular views of the Yamuna River and the Taj Mahal on the opposite bank.
Your driver will pick you up in the early afternoon and transport you to Jaipur (about 5 hours away).
After breakfast, your driver will take you to the beautiful Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) to see its lovely exterior and take some photographs before continuing on to the famed Amber Fort, located 7 miles outside of Jaipur. After seeing this hilltop fort for a few hours, return to Jaipur to view the City Palace, a magnificent example of blended Rajasthani and Mughal architecture.
Then you’ll go to the nearby Jantar Mantar, better known as the Solar Observatory, which houses a stunning array of 19 architectural astronomical equipment.
Finally, you’ll make your way back to your hotel for the night.
